The Seer Almine:
“I want to share with you the realization that came to me during this meditation. If I am here to teach, and you are here to learn, that dynamic doesn’t work. If I am here to explore, and I share my explorations with you, there is a different dynamic at play. Throughout the years I maintained a total neutrality when I was teaching, for a very specific reason: We hold lightly to the truth – it is like a butterfly in your hands. If you hold it too tight, you can squash it and its life goes out. Truth is like that – truth changes from day to day. There are certainly basic truths that are like the deep ocean, and they change slower – but even the deep ocean still moves. So, if I am proactively trying to persuade you of my position, I am not teaching from innocence – I am indoctrinating you. And you have come trusting me, and you are open. If you are open and I push my truth in, it is a form of imprinting; it is a form of mind-control; it is a form of indoctrination. So, in my classes, even if I could see answers, I would step back, because I knew they were yours to get. And if you got them, it would bring such blessings to you from the Cosmos.
What is innocence? It is not proactive or receptive, but just a neutral observing. When things are confusing in your midst and there is muddying in the water, you just observe – that is the most impeccable way to deal with confusing energies. If you are proactively pushing a truth, you step out of innocence. So, what I am usually very proactive about in my classes? It is questions. Our questions create directionality for the group. They create movement in a specific direction of questions. They give us impetus to move out of our boxes where we were. We need to get out of our boxes in order to be able to create a new reality. So, questions are proactive, and answers are receptive. If you are proactively pushing the answers, you have reversed this and you step out of innocence, you cannot function out of the core of authenticity. One can immediately sense that something is wrong, someone is trying to persuade. One of the aspects of innocence is not trying to persuade. We are not persuading – we are exploring.”
